DGCA Pilot’s Course
In India, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is responsible for safety issues, air transport services, the enforcement of civil air regulations, air safety and airworthiness standards.
Our DGCA course meets the DGCA requirements for the issue of an Indian Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating (Multi Engine) upon conversion.
What you’ll learn and gain from this course
Your training will result in the issue of a New Zealand Commercial Pilot License and also provides Multi Engine Rating and Instrument Flight Time (Multi Engine). Air Hawke’s Bay provides all of the necessary paperwork to assist with the DGCA CPL licence conversion process if you want to launch a career as a pilot in India.
Theory
We’ll provide you with extensive ground training in twelve theory subjects with external exams conducted by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). All subject resources, presentations and question bank of quizzes are based on our Moodle platform which gives our students 24/7 access with their iPad.
Course fee includes:
- Aircraft hire (including fuel and flight instructor)
- Flight Radio Telephone Operator Licence (FRTOL)
- Lectures (ground training) for 12 theory subjects
- Pre-flight briefing instructions, in-flight instructions and post-flight debriefing
- Text books, materials and resources – AIP Vol. 1 & 4 Navigation Computer, Protractor & Ruler, NZ Maps, Log Book, Work Book
- Travel and medical insurance
- Your uniform (4 x shirts and jacket)
- Airways and landing charges
- CAA Theory Exam Fees (all 12 subjects – one attempt each)
- Flight test fees (Private Pilot Licence & Commercial Pilot Licence – one attempt each)
- CAA License Issue Fees (Private Pilot Licence & Commercial Pilot Licence – one attempt each)
- CAA English Language Proficiency (ELP) Test
